Samsung Galaxy S4 is the latest flagship phone from the infamous Apple iPhone competitor from South Korea.
In Canada, companies have already announced their availability:
- Rogers could be releasing the phone on May 3rd , as well as a $35 gift card for pre-ordering on a 3-year
trapcontract - Telus, Videotron, Virgin, and Bell are releasing in April 26th with similar pricing to Rogers (big surprise there).
- Wind and Mobilicity will be receiving it on May 3rd with no pricing yet announced but is estimated to be $700 outright.
Us Canucks only get the 16GB version due to apparent low demand for 32GB variant, its being credited to the expandable memory slot. I would just like to think we’re smarter and would rather get the memory cards ourselves.
The main competitor to the magical Galaxy S4 is the HTC One, which from the looks of it takes a different approach, solid hardware and quality focused. Both phones are quad-core for the North American market but that’s where the similarities end.
