This puppy isn’t just cheaper, it performs very well for the price, 80GB version for $225 and 160GB for $440 according to AnandTech. The dye shrink has definitely increased the performance, but some may not think it’s enough. Yet, you cannot deny the cheaper price and making it that much more affordable for everyone and eventually taking over the hard drive market entirely.
